Good care begins before a patient ever walks through the door — it starts with how easy we are to find, read, and reach. Here's where we stand on web accessibility, what we've built in, and what to do if something gets in your way.
Accessibility is treated as continuous work, not a one-time checkbox.
Senoia Eyecare is committed to a website that welcomes every visitor — whether you're using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, browsing with reduced motion, or simply looking for a phone number in larger type.
We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as an evolving target. We have not undertaken a formal third-party audit, so we don't claim full conformance — but we use the standard as our reference for everything we publish.
As the site grows and the standard evolves, this page will be updated to reflect what's actually true today — not what we wish were true.
The small choices that decide whether a site is usable before you ever notice it.
Pages use proper headings, landmarks, and lists so assistive technologies can present them clearly. Photography includes descriptive alternatives, and decorative imagery is marked as such.
Every interactive element — links, buttons, the booking CTA, the mobile menu — is reachable and operable with the keyboard alone. Focus styles are preserved, not stripped.
If your system requests reduced motion, the site honors it: animations collapse to near-instant transitions, and parallax effects are stilled. No flashing, no aggressive movement.
Body copy is sized for comfortable reading, line lengths are bounded, and the palette is chosen so text meets contrast targets against every background it appears on.
Some pieces of the site are delivered through third parties whose accessibility we don't fully control — most notably the online booking flow (operated by Eyefinity) and the embedded Google map on the Visit page. We've chosen vendors who take accessibility seriously, but their experience is governed by them, not by us.
Older photography and any embedded third-party widget may not yet meet the same bar as the rest of the site. Remediation is ongoing — when we find a gap, we fix it; if you find one first, please tell us and we'll move it up the list.
We'd rather hear about it than not. If any part of this site keeps you from finding what you need, booking an exam, or reaching us — let us know and we'll fix it. In the meantime, our staff is happy to complete any booking by phone.
